![]() ![]() They say you don’t feel a difference the first float but I definitely did. It was very relaxing and my muscles could actually relax. Pretty cool that I have floated on the East Coast and in CA, but the best float center I have ever been to is here in Omaha! Cara Diehl ★★★★★ I have fibromyalgia and degenerative disc and joint disease and looking for other alternatives for pain other then meds and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but my first float felt amazing. I was impressed and I'm sure we will be back. ![]() We did the oxygen bar after where they had 6 different flavors (eucalyptus, citrus delight, lemongrass, almond, strawberry and lavender. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My only suggestion would to be maybe have some q-tips in the rooms along with the makeup remover, Kleenex, petroleum jelly and ear plugs that was provided. I got out and showered with the shampoo/conditioner/soap that was offered (complimentary). I was awoke by the filter turning on and lovely soothing music. It was very soothing and I fell asleep restfully. They showed us to our rooms and explained how the float pods work. They had us watch a short comical video about the spa while also giving us tea and water. When filled out a wiaver on an ipod when we first arrived and they gave us flipflops to wear as we put our shoes in a cubby. It was our first time and was a pleasant experience. But highly recommend trying it at least once.Hats off to the worker, he was very knowledgeable and really focused on our needs and desires while there.10/10, will go again. Like it just woke up from a cool afternoon fall nap, breeze flowing in the window and no requirements of my day.It was. More relaxed through my back, my knees feel looser, my skin feels softer, my mind feels. Next thing I knew, it had been an hour.I walked away. Calming, relaxing, can attune you to new pains you didn't know you had, or release some stress or tension you knew you had.I floated for what seemed like 10 min, wondering what would happen in the dark (I chose lights off), and. We visited the Peachtree City Location, but for some reason it brings the McDonough one up to review. This is a one of a kind unique experience, that differs for each person.VERY clean and huge attention to detail, this is a place of tranquility and calm, from the tea offered at the door, the oxygen bar with essential oils, to the float room, cleaned and prepped for each person individually.Floating is. But not enough to get us to ever go back. The one bright spot is the Oxygen Bar, that really worked clearing out a stuffy nose. My advice is to stay home and take a hot Epsom Salt Bath and then go get a good massage with the money you'd spend. ![]() Then when I showed him the rate advertised on his pamphlet right there on his desk, he shook his head and told me if I joined he could give me the first time float rate. All of their advertising: website, pamphlets, card advertise this rate and when I showed the young man the website, he told me that was a "web-rate" only. (Pricy enough for a dressed up Epsom salt bath to start with) But the spa did A "Bait and Switch" and we were charged $89 per person instead after our float. The worst part for us is that we were first time floaters and were quoted an intro price of $65 each when we booked the sessions. It is relaxing for about 30 minutes, then it's overkill. ![]()
